What We Believe –
Our Tenets of Faith
Our faith is grounded in the teachings of the Bible. We believe:
- The Bible is the infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Revelation 22:18-19)
- In the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ and salvation through His name. (Matthew 1:20-22, Acts 4:11-12)
- In the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Acts 13:28-31)
- In the born-again experience, transitioning from the old life to the new life in Christ. (John 3:3, 1 Corinthians 15:22)
- In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6)
- In water baptism by immersion, as commanded in Scripture. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38)
- In the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the dead. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, John 5:28-29)
- In divine healing and the miracle-working power of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 8:2-3, Matthew 9:20-23)
- In the eternal reign of Christ and the restoration of His church. (Acts 3:21, Hosea 6:3)
- In living a life of holiness and sanctification unto the Lord. (2 Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14)
